Ratna Omidvar, GDX Featured in 2015 Global Diversity List
Published on November 2, 2015The first ever assessment of the world’s leading authorities on diversity was announced on Saturday October 31, 2015. The Global Diversity List is a comprehensive guide to organizations and individuals who are at the forefront of promoting diversity in human resources policy and practice. The list is supported by The Economist magazine, and founding partners include such global giants as AT Kearney, Barclays, BNP Paribas, KPMG, Societe Generale, Standard Chartered, UBS, and WorldPay.
Ratna Omidvar, founding Executive Director of the Global Diversity Exchange, was recognized in three separate categories:
- Top 10 Diversity Champions — this category recognizes the achievements of individuals who have used their position within their organisation, for example as an executive, employee or diversity network lead to make an impact on diversity.
- Top 50 Diversity Figures in Public Life — this category recognizes the achievements of individuals who have used their position in public life, for example as a campaigner, politician or journalist to make an impact in diversity.
- Top 50 Diversity Professionals in Industry — this category recognizes the achievements of individuals who have made the practice of diversity and inclusion their career and who currently work as a professional in the field of diversity.
In addition, GDX was recognized as a Top 10 Ethnicity Employee Network. This category recognizes the achievements of employee network groups established to work on race diversity within organisations.
